For the past 24 years, I've been deeply ingrained in the fabric of our city as a Union Sprinkler fitter, where I've played a pivotal role in shaping our infrastructure and ensuring the safety of our buildings. Over time, my journey led me from leadership roles on job sites to a broader leadership position within my Local Union, where I proudly serve as a Business Agent, advocating for fair labor practices and the well-being of our hardworking union members. In 2019, I furthered my commitment to education and skill development by completing the UA Certified Teaching Program, and since 2015, I've had the privilege of imparting knowledge and guidance as an instructor for Local 483.

Now, I stand before you as a candidate for the San Leandro City Council, driven by a steadfast commitment to address the pressing issues facing our community. I am determined to tackle our housing needs head-on, working tirelessly to ensure that every resident has access to safe and affordable housing. I am equally dedicated to reducing crime and increasing safety in our neighborhoods, employing proactive strategies and community engagement to build a safer environment for all. Furthermore, I firmly believe in prioritizing quality education for future generations, recognizing it as the cornerstone of our city's prosperity and success.

I am deeply honored to have the opportunity to serve my fellow residents on the City Council, and I humbly ask for your support as we embark on this journey together towards a brighter future for San Leandro.
